With the 2024 ‘International Youth Convention of MFM Americas Youth’ fast approaching, here are some helpful tips for the event. 

1. Prepare for the Houston Heat 
   Summer in Houston is HOT! Stay hydrated, wear a sun hat and sunglasses, and do not forget sunscreen. 
    

2.  On-site Support 
   We have medical, security, and pastoral care available. Look for their signs if you need assistance-you are not alone. 
    

3. Capture and share memories 
   Create content and capture moments. Scan our QR code to upload pictures, and use #IYC2024 and @mfmamericasyouth to tag us. 
    

4. Network and make friends 
   You’ll meet peers from America, Canada, the Americas, and worldwide. It is a fantastic opportunity to network and make new friends. 
    

5. Bring your prayer requests 
   There’s an atmosphere of miracles whenever the children of God gather to meet with God. Come expectant. 
    

6. Come Prepared: Let your heart be ready for the Lord. Expect miracles. Anticipate a touch from the Lord. Immerse your total being into the program so that you can receive the absolute best from the Lord. 
    

7. Join In: From July 18-21, there is a lot happening, so make sure to join in. Enjoy edifying messages, impactful breakout sessions, uplifting praise and worship, a Bible quiz championship, a talent night, networking sessions, indoor and outdoor games, and even a photo booth. Do not miss any of the activities! 
    

8. Yummy Yum Yum: Food and drinks will be provided, and there will also be onsite food trucks where you can purchase additional meals.  
    

9. Plan your journey: Do not wait till the last minute. Get the venue details ready, sort out your accommodation if you are travelling to the venue, sort out a car hire if you need it, start packing. #IYC2024 is about to happen. 
    

10. Come back next year for #IYC2025 
    It’s going to be even bigger and better, so make sure to join us again. Thank you for attending #IYC2024. We cannot wait to see you next year!
