Finally, Be Strong in the Lord and in His Mighty Power
This is your time. Your brightest hour has arrived. The spotlight is on you—so what are you waiting for? Let your light shine before others so they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). Did you know that David defeated Goliath as a teenager? Samuel began serving God in childhood? Jesus Christ fulfilled His earthly ministry by the age of thirty-three? The strength of youth is their crowning glory (Proverbs 20:29). Young people are often admired for their vigor and resilience.
Now here’s the twist: the Bible calls young people to be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Thus, urging them to look beyond their physical strength, aim higher than academic success, and seek a purpose far greater than financial gain. But what do young people truly gain by seeking the Lord and His mighty power? Can it ever compare to a life of luxury, personal freedom, and endless pleasures? Perhaps this is why Ecclesiastes 11:9 offers this reminder: Young people, it’s wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to do; take it all in. But remember that you must give an account to God for everything you do.
To live by experience or To live by example-that is the question!
Living by experience is a process of trial and error, often marked by mistakes, regrets, and lost time. While it can be a powerful teacher, learning the hard way frequently comes with long-term consequences and the challenge of recovering from poor choices. On the other hand, living by example means learning from the lives of others, observing their successes while avoiding their mistakes. Which path would you rather choose? Apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 11:1, Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.
