The Ministry of Laughter (spoken word)
He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy. Job 8:21.
We’ve heard it said,
laughter is the best medicine.
(Proverbs 17:22.)
But listen,
it’s not only for you.
It spills.
It heals those around you too.
Because laughter,
softens the hardest situations,
the hardest hearts.
Think about it…
when you laugh,
your face relaxes,
muscles and nerves release.
But to frown?
It takes a whole army,
every muscle working,
every nerve straining.
So why not laugh?
It is lighter on the body,
lighter on the soul.
And here’s the thing.
laughter benefits both.
The one who gives it,
the one who receives it.
It’s contagious healing.
Shared joy.
But don’t miss this,
laughter is not random.
It is rooted.
It is born from our positional advantage in Christ.
Psalm 2:4—He who sits in heaven laughs.
That laughter,
is evidence of victory.
With or without manifestation,
we still laugh.
Because we don’t fight for victory,
we live in victory.
Already won.
Already sealed.
So, laughter?
It’s not just comedy.
It’s a gift from God.
A release.
A testimony.
A sound that says, “I know whose I am.
It is healing.
It is joy.
It is freedom.
It is warfare.
It is ministry.
The ministry of laughter.
